Volunteer/Mission Trips

Following these steps is a vital part of planning a successful trip!Following these steps is a vital part of planning a successful trip! We are thankful for the time you spend planning, recruiting, and organizing for your trip to Lagniappe. But regardless of the number of people recruited, plans made or plane tickets purchased we cannot accommodate any team that does not have a specific reservation number in writing from Lagniappe. No exceptions. You will get this when you are prompted to pay online. Email Lynne Sabin for your number.

This may sound 'too firm' but we are simply trying to ensure that your experience with us is the best possible. We've had a few teams who believed they were 'signed up' and 'on the way' when we had NO beds, NO space and NO ability to put them to work.

Therefore, your trip is booked ONLY following STEP 4 below when you receive your confirmation e-mail from Lagniappe.

Now, before doing anything else, download the misson trip checklist form at the Mission trip forms page.

Below is a summary of the form:

  • STEP 1 – Determine Group Size & Dates
  • STEP 2 – Read LPC Policies
  • STEP 3 – NOW Contact LPC Directly. NOTE: steps 1 & 2 MUST be completed before calling Lynne Sabin to confirm your requested dates (228.493.8747 or lsabin@lpcpca.com) Please leave Lynne a message with your team name, dates requested, etc. If you do not receive a call back immediately, please be patient. Lynne fields many calls each week and she will call you back.
  • STEP 4 – Pay your deposit & FAX the signed form from the PDF file on the mission trip forms page back to Lagniappe.(within 15 days of making your reservation)
STEP 5 – Fill out & Mail Waivers (within 45 days of your trip start date)
  • STEP 6 - Skill Assessment Online (within 45 days of your arrival date)
  • STEP 7 – Pay Final Balance (30 days prior to your arrival date) and communicate males/females coming on your trip
  • STEP 8 – Communicate with Lagniappe, via Lynne Sabin (within 30 days of arrival)
