The Book of Ecclesiastes

 

King Solomon’s Ecclesiastes searches for an answer to the question, What is the advantage of humanity’s work and wisdom? Ecclesiastes crosscurrents of optimism and pessimism can make the overall intentions of the book difficult to understand. But we see in Ecclesiastes a picture of God’s perfect plan a world and the vanity and meaninglessness of sin.
