September Blitz Build!

September 29th is not far away! 

We need between 20-30 people to help us blitz build a house for Amy Bush!  It has been three years since Hurricane Katrina, but many residents are still without permanent housing.  We want to bring small groups together from all over the state (perhaps even neighboring states) to put this Mississippi resident back in her homePrevious Lagniappe Blitz Build! 

Teams should plan to check-in to Lagniappe between 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 28th.  Orientation will be held that night at 7:00 pm.  Teams can check-out on Friday evening (Oct. 3rd), or Saturday morning (Oct. 4th).

The cost will be the normal $20 a day per person.  This covers three meals a day plus lodging, showers, and all materials for the job.  To make reservations contact Cammie Chapman.   

We realize this is coming up soon, and therefore are not asking for large teams.  If you know 2 or 3 people interested in coming down, we would love to have them!
