As you may have read on our Home Page, our 'transition' has always been part of the plan this mission church. It is an encouragement to us and a testimony to the hard work of all our staff and volunteers that we are AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! Jordan Sikkema, our construction manager, has prayed one thing consistently since we began, "Lord, frustrate the plans that our ours and put your plans in place." He usually adds, "...and Lord you know I hate praying this prayer..." Our plans included this transition in "Years 5-6", God's plan was different. We are adjusting, excited and praying Jordan's prayer but we usually add his addendum.

-Overall community evaluation/long-term mission work/strategy
-Continued Re-building w/ shifting focus on re-building lives with ‘pre-Katrina’ distress.
-Overall life re-building: financial, social and spiritual issues.
-Ministry model duplication
-Self-sustaining infrastructure for LPC Mission
-Movement to particularize as a PCA church
